“ Matties, nestled in the historic Green Pastures estate, offers a charming atmosphere with beautifully maintained grounds and the iconic peacocks roaming freely. We arrived early for our reservation and spent some time at the bar, where Sawyer, our bartender, was fantasticquick, attentive, and spoton with a Cabernet and a Lemondrop. The pimento cheese appetizer was a perfect start. Once seated, there was a brief hiccup as we waited about 10 minutes without service. However, the manager quickly stepped in to apologize, and Michael, our server, more than made up for it with exceptional service throughout the evening. For entrees, we enjoyed the braised ribs and the salmonboth delicious, wellpriced, and served impressively fast. Cauliflower appetizer for dinner was wonderful. Since we were celebrating our anniversary, they surprised us with complimentary champagne and dessert, which was a thoughtful touch. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and were already looking forward to our next visit. ”
“ Walked in at 1050 and they open at 11 and sat at the bar with Josh and sawyer whom were great. Ended up eating at the bar. Had chicken Benedict which was cooked perfectly as well as the breakfast plate , green tomatoes and biscuits. All great. Juice is squeezed fresh. ”

“ My husband and I came here for my birthday dinner and it was literally perfect in every way down to the last detail! We ordered the biscuits, sour cream dip and wedge salad to start. Then shared the ribs which were arguably the best bbq ribs Ive ever had!! The bbq sauce was sweet and tangy and sides were amazing. It came with a potato salad and coleslaw which had a sweet spiciness to it! For dessert we ordered the cookie trio, also so good!! We literally loved everything we ordered and cant wait to go back! Food, ambiance and service were all 1010 ”
